ISSUES proudly announces the debut solo show at a gallery with painter Hampus Wernemyr. Born 1982 in Stenungsund, west Sweden, and after having spent at least ten thousand hours with an electric guitar and starting a family, Hampus graduated from Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm last year. The world, from which his sometimes blurry yet always precisely depicted characters and objects come, is located somewhere beyond the uncanny valley. Author Jerker Virdborg is making an attempt to describe it and his findings will be presented at the opening.
